Golf is a favourite sport and activity among many people. The repetitive motions and the torque applied across the lower back can become significant risks for developing or worsening  lower back pain. Golf-related back injuries typically fall into lumbar strains and disc herniated categories. During the downswing or forceful golf swing, a sudden shift can cause lumbar strains. While playing golf, excessive pressure or force can buckle a portion of the disc, resulting in a herniated disc. Accidentally falling or colliding can cause other back injuries while playing golf.
